Ingredients

Our laundry liquid soap contains natural and biodegradable ingredients necessary for liquid formulation. Note that liquid detergents, by their nature, require more complex formulations than powder detergents:

  • Water - Pure water base that carries and activates all cleaning ingredients effectively
  • Sodium Laureth Sulfate (Natural-Based Cleaning Agent) - Derived from coconut oil, this gentle surfactant creates rich lather and effectively lifts dirt and oils from fabrics without harsh chemical residue. We use Sodium Laureth Sulfate (not harsh SLS) - a gentler, coconut-derived cleaning agent that provides powerful cleaning without the irritation potential of traditional SLS
  • Decyl Glucoside - Plant-derived surfactant made from corn glucose and coconut oil that provides excellent cleaning power while being exceptionally gentle on skin and fabrics
  • MEA-Oleate - Natural emulsifier derived from plant oils that helps blend ingredients and enhances cleaning effectiveness on greasy stains
  • C12-15 Alkyl Ethylhexanoate - Plant-based conditioning agent that helps protect fabric fibers and maintains softness without the need for separate fabric softener
  • Sodium Carbonate (Washing Soda) - Natural mineral that boosts cleaning power, helps remove tough stains, and softens hard water for better detergent performance
  • Sodium Polycarboxylate - Biodegradable water softener that prevents mineral buildup - essential for liquid formulas to remain stable and effective in Calgary's hard water
  • Sodium Hydroxide - A naturally-occurring mineral that safely balances pH levels. While the name may sound intimidating, it's completely neutralized in the final product and is the same ingredient used in traditional soap-making
  • Sodium Laurimino Dipropionate - Gentle, plant-derived surfactant that provides additional cleaning power while being mild enough for sensitive skin
  • Monoethanolamine - A naturally-occurring compound that ensures the formula remains effective and gentle throughout storage. Used in very small amounts and completely biodegradable
  • Sodium Methylglycinediacetate - Biodegradable chelating agent that binds to minerals in hard water, preventing them from interfering with cleaning action - necessary for liquid stability
  • Essential Oils (Rosemary + Mint) - Pure plant extracts that provide natural, refreshing fragrance while offering antimicrobial properties and natural preservation

What's NOT in our detergent: phosphates, phthalates, chlorine bleach, parabens, EDTA, artificial fragrances, synthetic dyes, optical brighteners, harsh sulfates, formaldehyde, or petroleum-based ingredients, SLS-free - we use the milder Sodium Laureth Sulfate

How to Use

Front-Load Washers (HE): Use 25ml (about 1.5 tablespoons) per load
Conventional Washers: Use 40ml (about 2.5 tablespoons) per load
1. Measure appropriate amount based on your washer type
2. Add directly to washer drum or detergent dispenser
3. For heavily soiled loads, add an extra tablespoon or pre-treat stains
4. Run your washer as normal
5. Enjoy clean, fresh-smelling laundry without the guilt of harmful chemicals
